Welcome!

We decided to enhance our business by starting a blog for all those familiar to and interested in Memory Weavers and have a passion for scrapbooking! As you can see from our profile, we are scrapbooking store combined with a photofinishing department and photography business! Brian is the recent owner and photographer who moved his business (Barthel Photo) from his little drive through kiosk into Memory Weavers...he has expanded his business and artistic skills to include the scrapbooking industry, although he has yet to move "Men's Night" from the golf course to the scrapbooking table. Brian is an avid photographer and is well known in the Valley for his sports photography, family portraiture and wedding photography. He is willing to meet all your photo needs, whether that be photo development, photo enlargement, camera advice or event photography. If you are interested in Brian's photography services, please

On the scrapbooking side, Brian has three talented and helpful staff members (Debbie, Rebecca, and Tanya) who create fabulous products, have a wealth of knowledge, and keep up with the new and hot trends in scrapbooking! They are constantly brainstorming new and innovative ideas for their classes and are more than willing to help you create the "idea" you may have in your head, but can't quite seem to articulate on paper! We will be posting coming classes onto this blog soon, but in the meantime, a class schedule can be found at http://www.memoryweavers.com/. You can call 604-853-2322 or 604-850-3456 to reserve your space or to request more information about these classes. And, if you are too busy to come in for a class, come and check out our Splish Splash page of the month kit (going fast!)
We are very excited about the new inventory that will be arriving over the next month! Brian and I attended the CHA convention in Chicago and went on an order frenzy! We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new Laundry, Spooked and Nightlight collection from My Mind's Eye, several absolutely gorgeous paper lines from Kaiser Craft (which just came in) and some great flocked and glitter embellishments and paper from DCTM (some precious baby paper). We also have three new complete lines arriving from Basic Grey (also just came in), and Paper Adventurers. We also have an inspiring Christmas and Valentine's line coming from Little Yellow Bicycle as well as funky grunge board and embellishments from Tim Holz and idea-ology. One of our orders has already arrived...so if you are in to acrylic, we have it! We hope you are as excited as we are about our new stock! As it arrives, we will update you!
Enjoy the summer heat and take lots of pictures for your memory albums!
